#2 VISIT THE WATERFALL 'EL LIMON'

A reclusive paradise located in the mountains of Samana is the El Limon Waterfall. The waterfalls reach 164 feet in height from the ground where it settles in a refreshing natural pool. To reach El Limon Waterfall you must either hike a trail ( 30-45 min) or ride on horseback (15-20 min), through the tropical forest where you will enjoy seeing the Cacao, Coffee and various tropical fruit plantations on the way. With a local guide, he will accompany you on your horseback journey to this breathtaking destination. Bring your bathing suit to take full advantage of this beautiful trip.

Covering an area stretching 1,600 km² (618 square miles), Los Haitises National Park is one of the crown jewels of the Dominican Republic’s national park system. Los Haitises–which translates into “hilly land” in the Taino language–attracts numerous visitors who come here by boat to see its magnificent series of 30-meter (98-foot) high rock formations jutting out of the water.
The park also boasts extensive mangroves along its bay, which is dotted with cayes that are home to multiple bird colonies, as well as a series of caves known for having one of the highest numbers of petroglyphs and pictographs in the country

#3 HUMPBACK WHALE WATCHING

These magnificent mamales come from the North Atlantic Ocean to the Samana Bay every year for a migratory phenomenon. The Humpback whale is a recovering endangered species that grows larger than a school bus. Here in the Samana Bay these solitary giants come to reproduce in this special habitat. This event happens every winter, from January 15th to March 15 only here in the Samana Bay, Dominican Republic. Enjoy this spectacular moment in nature. Samaná Zipline is nestled in the heart of nature, a few minutes away from the amazing and secluded beach of El Valle, where you can eat and relax after the tour.From what looks like a wrecked ship atop the tallest mountain in the area, visitors begin their downfall voyage by walking the plank. Reaching speeds of up to 40 mph, you criss-cross from platform to platform with a breathtaking views! There are 12 lines and 13 stations!. The longest line boasts of being over 1200 ft long and 450 high. That is almost a 45 story office building!
